Bill played in the NFL under legendary coaches Vince Lombradi and Don Shula and snapped the ball to Hall of Famers Bart Starr and Johnny Unitas.
He coached at Georgia Tech, Alabama and Georgia State and then became an analyst for ESPN where he broadcasted games and appeared on shows such as Mike and Mike in the Morning.
