EP126: Jared & Angie Hughes and the Co-vocational Approach to a Digital Only Church

<p>I thought I knew what to expect with Jared &amp; Angie. Leading one of the largest (if not the largest) digital only expression of church in America, I was expecting the couple to fit the mold a digital pastor… what we see so often in our Phygital Churches. To be honest, Jared &amp; Angie, and much of this conversation, was a complete surprise.</p> <p>There are people planting digital churches who see themselves as disruptors. They’re proud that they’re doing something different. They wear it as a badge of honor. I was half-expecting this from the Hughes.</p> <p>What I heard instead was a passion to reach and disciple people with any method possible. Their aggressive, go get it attitude speaks volumes. Their passion to connect with people using digital tools, incredible. The fact that the digital-only church didn’t exist until before COVID, and the fact that they themselves didn’t do digital ministry anywhere before COVID, shocking!</p> <p>Reality is they were broken vessels before God, and God rebuilt them in incredible ways influencing people with the Gospel literally around the planet.
