Notes and Quotes:

“I think there are multiple ways to run from God. Some people choose immorality where they run headfirst into sin and some of us choose morality where they just want to be ‘good.’” —Blair Linne

“I experienced so much shame and even condemnation because I thought that Christians shouldn’t deal with anxiety and if they did, it was an issue with their faith.” —Blair Linne

“What we often do is pit religious fear against sinful fear.” —Blair Linne

“Not everyone has the same story or the same body or the same mind. We are in a fallen world with fallen bodies, and God in His mercy gives us spiritual helps and He also gives us natural helps.” —Blair Linne

“We’re not just a soul, we also have a body. We’re here as a complete person made in the image of God. If a person needs medication to help them, praise God that it exists! And now they can have a complete thought to trust God.” —Blair Linne

“We are not in control and often anxiety or a panic attack can expose that truth to us. It exposes the truth that we are but human and also that we have a God who says, ‘Do not fear, do not be worried, for I am with you.’” —Blair Linne

“Any concern, care, or worry that we have, any physical affliction or ailment that we have is an opportunity for us to see our dependence on God.” —Blair Linne

“You are worthy of being seen by Jesus in your weakness.” —Blair Linne
