Lettie Burd Cowman (1870–1960) was an American missionary, devotional writer, and co-founder of the Oriental Missionary Society (now One Mission Society). Alongside her husband, Charles Cowman, she served in Japan and Korea, promoting evangelism and training missionaries. After his death, she became best known for her classic devotional Streams in the Desert (1925), which has inspired millions worldwide with its messages of hope and faith during hardship.
