True friendship does not turn a blind eye to spiritual destruction. When a brother or sister walks in open rebellion, we cannot share casual fellowship as if nothing is wrong. To do so is to affirm their darkness. Biblical love compels us to address the sin rather than act indifferent to it. We must warn them as a brother, valuing their eternal soul more than the temporary comfort of the relationship. To ignore their sin is to aid in their ruin.
